"The Bourne Ultimatum" took three from three at the Oscars on Sunday
night, winning all three categories for which it was nominated -
editing, sound mixing and sound editing. Bourne was the second highest
Oscar winner of the night, behind the Cohen brothers' "No Country for
Old Men".
Christopher Rouse won for Film Editing, Scott
Millan, David Parker and Kirk Francis won the mixing trophy and Karen
Baker Landers and Per Hallberg won the sound editing award. It was the
fourth Oscar for Millan (who won previously for "Ray," "Apollo 13" and
"Gladiator") and the second for Parker (who won previously for "The
English Patient") and for Halberg (who won for "Braveheart").
The 80th Academy Awards ceremony was held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on 24th February.
