The 2008 Oscar Nominees were announced on Tuesday morning in Beverly Hills, California.
Enchanted,
the Disney film about an animated princess who comes to life, earned
three of the five best song nominations. The third film in the Jason
Bourne trilogy, The Bourne Ultimatum, also received three nominations
for Film Editing, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing. Pirates of the
Caribbean, At World's End is up for two Oscars in the Make Up and
Visual Effects categories
The 80th Academy Awards ceremony takes place in Hollywood's Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on 24 February.
