FCP Gala dinner - over £60,000 raised for charity Global Angels

NorthWest Passage expedition - newsA very special thanks to all those who attended our FCP North West Passage charity gala dinner last Thursday, helping us raise over £60,000 to build water wells in Africa , in an auction led by Jeffrey Archer.

You can see some photos from the evening in this page.

The gala dinner was the perfect close for an adventure that started a good few months back, when Bear Grylls and Tim Levy decided to take an ice breaking Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) through 2,000 miles of the infamous ice strewn North West Passage, linking the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans via the Arctic. The trip was sponsored by Future Capital Partners and Future Fuels, raising money for charity while also raising awareness about climate change.

Between the silent and the live auction we raised a total of £60,237 plus £1,480 in cash. Together with the £17,214 that had been previously donated in the website, this put our total charity fundraising for Global Angels to about £80,000 this year alone!

There are still a few days left to donate - go to the fundraising page if you want us to help us reach the target £100,000.
