Vireol and Future Capital Partners launch bio-refinery plant at Grimsby event

Future Fuels newsOn Friday 5th of March, Vireol and Future Capital Partners will launch on-site the groundbreaking investment opportunity that will allow UK investors to invest in biofuels for the first time, in an event in Grimsby close to where the bio-refinery plant will be built.

The site for the facility is owned by Future Fuels LLP and planning permission has already been received. Future Fuels will enter into an Operating Lease with Vireol to operate the facility. Construction is expected to start this year.

The industrial scale bio-refinery in the North of England will produce 200m litres of RTFs and 175,000 tonnes of high protein animal feed per annum, and agreements signed with two global institutions to purchase the plant’s produce will ensure the project’s profitability.

Future Fuels expects to provide its investors returns of 30% per annum over the five to seven year period of the plant’s construction. It will be raising £40m equity towards the plant, with a minimum investment of £50,000.

The launch event at Grimsby will gather partners involved in the project, local authorities, journalists and investors.
