Future Capital Partners (“FCP”), the £6 billion alternative investment boutique, has added another new member to its business development team with the appointment of Esther Lewis as Business Development Manager.
Esther’s appointment is the latest in a string of new additions to an enhanced business development team over the last quarter. Esther will report to Piers Denne, recently hired to take on an expanded Head of Sales and Marketing role.
The strengthened team will drive the marketing campaign for FCP’s range of innovative investment products. This includes the recently launched Future Fuels - an investment partnership that will fund and build a renewable transport fuel (“RTF”) plant in the North of England. The project will give UK investors access to the rapidly growing RTF sector for the first time. The firm expects the project to yield returns of over 30% per annum over a five to seven year period.
Esther has a wealth of experience in the hedge fund and alternative investment industries, and will focus on building strong working relationships with both clients and intermediaries while also contributing to business development and client liaisons.
Esther joins Future Capital Partners from Unicorn Investments where she was Manager of Business Development. At Unicorn, she was responsible for business development and client relationships of the Unicorn Fund of Fund in the UK, Netherlands, Spain and Gibraltar.
Esther also brings with her a strong accounting background, having worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, London in the Banking & Capital Market division. Over three years there, she developed an expansive knowledge of the alternative investment and private banking industries, working with industry leading names such as Man Group PLC, Barclays Capital and JP Morgan.
Esther holds a full investment management certificate and the ICAS Chartered Accountancy qualification from the Chartered Institute of Accountants of Scotland.
Piers Denne commented:
“Bringing Esther in to join our rapidly growing business development team is further indication of FCP’s expansive growth plan. Esther’s experience in the alternative investment and private wealth arenas give her an ideal background to market our products to an audience of sophisticated, high net worth investors. She will be a key player in marketing our current and upcoming investment opportunities, and we’re very pleased to welcome her onboard.”
Esther Lewis added:
“I am delighted to be joining a company that is leading the alternatives industry and is so focused on its growth strategy. With the recent launch of the Future Fuels product, and the forthcoming projects we have in the pipeline, this is an exciting time to be joining Future Capital Partners and I look forward to working with this fast paced and ambitious company.”
Future Capital Partners specialises in alternative investments such as renewable energy, international property, healthcare and media & entertainment. Future Capital Partners has completed transactions and made investments worth in excess of £6 billion since 2000 and has executed over 500 asset finance transactions.
