Future Capital Partners (“FCP”), the £6 billion alternative investment boutique, has further strengthened its business development team with the appointment of Alan Cross as Business Development Manager.
Alan brings over 22 years of financial services experience to Future Capital Partners. In his new role he will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with key accountancy and intermediary firms among FCP’s client base in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Alan will be an integral part of the business development team with the marketing of FCP’s range of products, the most recent being Future Fuels. Launched in January, Future Fuels is an investment partnership that will fund and build a renewable transport fuel (“RTF”) plant in the North of England.
Over half of the £40 million Future Fuels aimed to raise has already been committed by IFAs and intermediates. Alan will add his expertise to a comprehensive marketing campaign around the project.
Alan joins FCP from Scottish Widows where he spent the last 17 years as an Intermediary Account Manager, responsible for promoting life and pension products to the IFA market. It is this in-depth knowledge of the Scottish and Irish markets and Alan’s own enthusiasm for the financial services profession that adds to the successful team. He holds a Life and Pensions certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Piers Denne welcomed Alan to the team, saying:
“Alan’s appointment will be a major boost to our nationwide distribution. We have seen a lot of appetite for our innovative products from the intermediary community in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and Alan’s knowledge of this market is unparalleled. We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
