Future Capital Partners (“FCP”), the £6 billion alternative investment boutique, has further expanded business development with the creation of a major accounts team, a dedicated service which will further strengthen the firm’s client service expertise.
The new team consists of Tim Barker, who joins as Major Accounts Director, and Susie Feeney, who has been appointed as Business Development Associate. The team will work closely with FCP’s existing clients, as well as the IFAs, wealth managers, financial institutions and accountants through whom FCP’s products are available. The team will also help to identify new clients, and will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with key intermediary firms.
Tim and Susie, who have worked together at Hartford Life in the past, will be reuniting to join the rapidly expanding FCP team. The firm - who recently announced the acquisition of a site and planning permission consent for an industrial scale plant in Grimsby, North East England for their green investment opportunity “Future Fuels LLP” – has made a series of hires over the last quarter, with further additions expected over the next six months.
Tim has 25 years financial services experience, the last four years being spent at Hartford Life as Key Account Director. Prior to that, Tim held senior positions at AXA and Sun Life.
Susie joins FCP from The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) where she worked as Key Account Relationship Manager, responsible for working with major UK banks. Prior to this, Susie also worked for Hartford Life as Key Accounts Executive and Key Accounts Support Adviser.
Piers Denne, Head of Sales and Marketing said:
“Tim and Susie are well known in the intermediated market for their exceptional abilities in managing major account relationships. I am delighted to be bringing them back together to work with the enlarged sales team within Future Capital Partners. We recognize how important the major and key account market is to Future Capital Partners and we are looking to work closely with them in delivering the right product in a way they need’
Tim Barker added:
FCP’s plans for the future are a major reason for me joining. They have a huge amount coming up in the short term and a highly ambitious long term plan. With products such as ‘Future Fuels’ underway and a pipeline of equally exciting products to follow, FCP are flourishing at the moment, and I’m looking forward to continuing that momentum among the IFAs and wealth managers that FCP work with.”
Susie Feeney added:
I’m really excited to not only be joining such a fast paced company as FCP but also to be working with Tim again. FCP’s products are very popular among the intermediary market, and myself and Tim will be working to make sure that FCP’s investors are getting the best possible service.”
